We know just how important custom PCBs are to
hobbyists, students, and even professional engineers! BatchPCB has some
requirements, and some lead times. But if you need only 1 board, why are other
companies making you pay for 5? BatchPCB is a small company trying to make it
easier (and cheaper!) for everyone to enjoy professional quality PCBs for
prototyping!
We started this PCB pooling service awhile ago as
an off shoot of Spark Fun
Electronics. While our customers were thrilled with the initial service, we
were immediately swamped with orders running the gambit of designs failing DRC,
unknown file types, wacky drill files, and all sorts of customers doing all
sorts of different things at once. Obviously something had to change.
With a little coding and some massive automation
scripting, we have stream-lined the process. We are happy with the new lower
price and hope you enjoy the ease of ordering as well! With BatchPCB you can
submit any design at any time and see if you will be able to use our service.
Our DRC bot will happily scan your design and send you an email within 10
minutes letting you know the status. If you wish to purchase the design, you can
checkout with your design just as if it were a product through any other site.
Once through the learning curve of submitting
designs, we're sure you'll enjoy laying out your own PCBs on a regular basis!
